What are junk fees?
Junk fees are carrier-imposed add-ons — seat-selection charges, checked-bag surcharges, and "service" fees — that airlines hide inside base fares and that most OTAs pass straight through. Clarity lists every published fee as part of the price you actually pay, so the number we show already includes them.
How is the all-in price calculated?
The all-in price is the base fare + taxes + every carrier-imposed fee + a standard seat + up to two checked bags + any transfer cost, summed together before the total is ever shown. There is nothing added at checkout — what you see is what you pay.
Is Clarity an OTA?
No. Clarity does not sell tickets or rooms. We rank options built from each provider's own inventory and link you out to their site to book, so you always transact directly with the operator under their own terms and policies.
Why does my search sometimes show a higher price after I click through?
That is usually drip pricing, third-party tracking cookies, or false urgency added by the booking site. Clarity does none of that. The number we surface is the same all-in price the operator publishes on their own site, refreshed continuously.
Are there any currency conversion markups or hidden conversion fees in the price shown?
